I wanted to send a note of gratitude for the ROAM Ministry at Trinity Pines, ID the month of September. This was such a “God Send”. The four couples were able to start a major Quad Project that will house 50 campers. The four men were able to provide project construction building walls, sheathing the entire building and getting it ready for the trusses. 

Not only was the ROAM group able to get this project going but the spouses were so valuable with the busy month of retreats at Trinity Pines. I think one of the greatest aspects of ROAM is the teaming together with the camp, providing construction labor and operations assistance with the camp and retreat program.  These volunteers prepared, cooked, served and cleaned up after meals.  They also completed housekeeping duties and chores that would not have gotten done during our busy Fall schedule. 

My only regret was seeing them go. 

We have three projects Summer 2007 and I am going to propose another ROAM Project at Trinity Pines.
