II.  To Prepare: Biblical Study  

Read Isaiah 65:17ff.

  • Is this a vision of the New Jerusalem only?
  • Does this vision imply God’s passions and God’s agenda?
  • Should not that same agenda motivate us now?
  • What aspects of the agenda are given in this passage?
  • What does this vision have to do with evangelism and church planting?
  • Is there any relationship between this Holy City and the City you live in?
  • What do you see around you that is promoting the values and lifestyle of God’s agenda?
