About Harold & Fern Lewis

RVs on a Mission - Harold & Fern LewisBoth Harold and Fern grew up in the Dodge City, KS area, Fern on a farm and Harold in the city.  Harold graduated from Pittsburg State University with Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Technical & Vocational Education.  Fern graduated with a PHT degree "Putting Hubby Thru". Harold taught school for 9 ½ years, then worked for the Kansas State Dept. of Education for 6 years.  Harold was appointed National Director of the U. S. Skill Olympics in Leesburg, VA in 1971 and retired in that position in 1997.

Both Harold and Fern have been very active in the Church of the Nazarene, where ever they have been. 

They write, “We have felt God's call on our lives to minister to those churches and campgrounds that need support. That continues our ministry of over 50 years in local churches.  The mission of ROAM seemed to fit what we had been looking for, so we signed up!  We are excited about the future of ROAM and its contribution to God's Kingdom through the Church of the Nazarene!”

They have five children, 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren!
